
First ever 'World Inclusion Congress'
Today, the UNICEF Representative in Kazakhstan Dr. Rashed Mustafa Sarvar, met with the organizers of the First World Congress on Inclusive Education - Mr. Yermek Majitov, CEO of the First World congress on Inclusive Education, Mrs. Almagul Kanagatova, CEO of Global Nomad Education and Daniel Sobel, CEO of the International Forum of Expert-Practitioners on Inclusion (IFIP, UK). The World Inclusion Congress (or WIC) will be held in Almaty with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, directions for future cooperation, as well as UNICEF's role in promoting inclusion at the global level were discussed.
The WIC will be an essential international platform to discuss innovative solutions to ensure equal access to quality education for every child, regardless of their specifications and lifestyle circumstances.
Dr. Rashed Mustafa Sarvar said that UNICEF is inspired to join the upcoming work and efforts to create a world where every child can unlock their full potential!
