Trial Schools give the thumbs up to GITI

Published on July 7, 2022

There has never been such a good time to invest in GITI training for your teams.

The Global Inclusive Teaching Initiative has been road-tested throughout this academic year by a variety of trial schools and colleges based around the UK. All of the institutions had access to Module 2 of the course which focuses on 'Structures that support differentiation'

Here is an example of some of the feedback we have received:

“This has been most valuable in challenging me to reflect on my own practise. I am a teacher of 35 years’ experience and a SENCO so I feel this is a fabulous resource for the school. It is informative for less experienced staff and it has allowed me to think deeply about the value of the things I do, why I am doing it and are my approaches the correct ones for the individual needs.”

“I found the case studies a useful tool when exploring the causes and triggers for negative student behaviour in the classroom. I also found the opportunity for wider reading and theory beneficial.”

“I personally feel it is supportive to staff, with practical advice and it is useful to all teachers, whatever point in their career.”

As a result of the trials we have now released all 5 Modules and are promoting GITI to schools around the world. Find out more about GITI and how it can help you teachers here.

GITI is designed to provide all that teachers need to know, to effectively teach all children in the classroom. It is designed to be flexible and practical, so that staff can integrate it into their day however they choose, working at a time and pace that best suits them.
