Daniel Sobel, CEO and Founder of Inclusion Expert, Chair of International Forums of Inclusion Practitioners, and Founder of Global Inclusive Teaching Initiative, is presenting the keynote at the ‘Inclusion Symposium’ at the International School Dhaka (ISD) - the first ever!
Mira Van der Wielen, Advancement Centre Leader at ISD say, “When you work with students with needs, you want inclusion for everyone. You want students to feel challenged, you want them to feel safe and you want them to learn! We are inviting everyone who works with children who have needs; teachers, educators, leaders, organisations and experts. We want them all to come together and learn from and with each other. When you work with students with needs you want inclusion everyone .
The symposium is a unique opportunity for educators and experts to learn and discuss important topics related to diversity and inclusion through hands-on interactive workshops and dialogues.
The event will be an opportunity for registered participants from Bangladesh who work with children with special needs to learn and discuss critical diversity and inclusion issues through hands-on interactive workshops and dialogues. The ‘Inclusion Symposium’ will be held at ISD campus.
The event will also enable participants to explore how to expand learners’ knowledge, The day will be useful for professional development opportunities. Several local non-profit organisations will also attend the event and conduct 3-4 sessions.
